Xeomin in Alpharetta
Xeomin injections at GENEVA Med in Alpharetta soften frown lines and other expression lines using a purified neurotoxin that carries none of the accessory proteins found in other injectables. Your provider evaluates your facial anatomy, muscle activity, and treatment history to build a personalized plan, and Xeomin is often the answer for patients whose results from other neuromodulators have started fading sooner.

- A purified formula. Xeomin is filtered down to the active molecule alone, with none of the accessory proteins the other neuromodulators carry.
- Because there is less for the body to recognize, Xeomin is the option we reach for when someone tells us their injections have stopped holding the way they used to.
- Dosing is close to one to one with Botox, so if you already know your unit count you can compare treatment costs directly rather than guessing.
- Quick treatment with minimal downtime, and results that typically hold for three to four months.

What Xeomin Is and How It Works

XEOMIN IS AN FDA-APPROVED INJECTABLE THAT TEMPORARILY REDUCES THE MUSCLE ACTIVITY BEHIND MODERATE TO SEVERE FROWN LINES. Xeomin works beneath the skin by quieting targeted facial muscles. As those muscles relax, the lines carved by years of frowning, squinting, and raising the brows have less to form against and can appear smoother.
What separates Xeomin from the other neuromodulators is what is not in it. Botox and Dysport both carry accessory proteins alongside the active molecule. Xeomin is filtered down to that molecule alone, which is why it is often called naked Botox. For most patients this changes nothing about the result. For the smaller group whose injections have started wearing off sooner than they used to, it can be the difference that brings the response back.
At GENEVA Med your provider reads your facial anatomy, your muscle movement, and your history with previous injectables before choosing injection points and dosing. Xeomin works on lines made by movement. Lines that stay visible when your face is at rest usually involve volume or skin quality as well, and those are answered with other treatments alongside it.

Is Xeomin right for you?
Xeomin may suit adults who want expression lines softened without losing the way their face moves, and it is the first thing we consider for anyone whose previous injectable has begun wearing off faster. Your provider evaluates your facial anatomy, muscle activity, treatment history, and goals before recommending it.
Xeomin vs. Botox
Xeomin and Botox are both injectable neuromodulators that temporarily soften expression lines by reducing targeted muscle activity. The difference is in the formulation. Botox arrives with accessory proteins around the active molecule, and Xeomin arrives without them. Their dosing runs closely in parallel, so unit counts translate between the two far more directly than they do with Dysport.
Xeomin and Botox units are dosed closely enough that a unit count from one is a workable starting point for the other, which is not true of Dysport. Your provider will confirm the recommended dose and the total price before treatment begins.

What to Expect
We book 30 to 45 minutes for a cosmetic Xeomin appointment, though the injecting itself takes 15 to 20 minutes. Here is what to expect, from consultation and facial mapping through treatment, results and your two week follow up.
- 1
Preparation (before your visit)
Tell your provider about medications, supplements, and relevant health conditions, and be specific about any previous neuromodulator treatments and how well they held. That history is what shapes a Xeomin plan. Follow any preparation instructions from GENEVA and arrive with clean skin when possible.
- 2
Consultation and mapping
Your provider evaluates your facial anatomy, muscle movement, expression lines, and goals before setting the injection points and the number of Xeomin units appropriate for your treatment.
- 3
The treatment (15 to 20 minutes)
We book 30 to 45 minutes so none of this is rushed. The injecting itself takes 15 to 20 minutes. The rest is time to watch how your face actually moves, agree the plan with you, and check as we go, because dose decisions are the easiest thing to get wrong at speed. Xeomin is injected into targeted muscles using a fine needle. Most treatments involve several small injections based on the areas being treated and your individualized dosing plan.
- 4
Immediately after
Xeomin requires minimal downtime, and most patients return to their normal routine after the appointment. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising can occur around injection sites. Follow your GENEVA provider's specific aftercare instructions. Before you leave, our physician checks in on you and reviews the result.
- 5
Results develop (days 3 to 14)
You may begin noticing changes within the first few days, with the appearance continuing to develop as the treatment takes effect. The full effect is usually settled by day fourteen.
- 6
Your two week follow up
We book a two week review for every patient. Your provider checks how the treatment settled and adjusts anything that needs it. Xeomin results are temporary and typically hold for 3 to 4 months, with treatments spaced at least 90 days apart. We set your maintenance interval at that visit.
Xeomin Cost in Alpharetta
You pay per unit. We do not price by area, so a light forehead treatment costs less than a heavy one, and you are never charged for product you did not need. The ranges below are where most patients land. Final unit counts are set in the room, after your provider has watched how your face actually moves.
Xeomin Standard Rate
$11 / unit
New patients start at $9 per unit. Members save 10% to 15% depending on tier on every visit. Treating the upper face as one unit, forehead, frown lines and crow's feet together, a first visit usually falls between 40 and 60 units.
How many units you need depends on how strong the muscle is and how much movement you want to keep. Two people with the same lines often need very different dosing. Your injector works from the same chart as your physician, so the count is set against your history, not just the lines on your face.

Treatment Frequency
Finding Your Rhythm
1×
Your first round
Enough to learn how your muscles answer Xeomin, before anyone commits you to a longer plan.
3 to 4 mo
Ongoing maintenance
We book your next visit off returning movement, not returning lines. Treating at that earlier point holds results steadier, and for most patients the gap between visits lengthens over the first year.
Long term
Compounding benefits
Consistency compounds. A muscle that is treated regularly gets used less, and slowly loses some of its pull. A year or two into a regular schedule, most patients are using fewer units than they did at their first visit.
Combine Treatments
Your Journey, Continued
Each of these reaches something Xeomin cannot. Xeomin softens lines that come from movement. It does not replace lost volume, and it does not change the surface of your skin. That is usually why we plan them together rather than in sequence.
